Success party for Thuppakki! Vijay is the reason, says AR Murugadoss
After getting massive response from the audience for his recently released 'Thuppakki', it was a time for the 'Thuppakki' star to thank the whole team, who worked for the success.
Vijay threw a success party last night for the whole team and seemed to have specially invited the antagonist of the movie Vidyut Jamwal. The 31 year actor and martial artist flew down to the city last night specifically for the party.
Madan Karky had tweeted last night "Hearty thanks to actor Vijay & Mrs. Vijay for being splendid hosts in tonight's #thuppakki success party. Happy to meet the team."
Director AR Murugadoss has said that the success of Thuppaki depended on Vijay. Speaking about this film, AR Murugadoss said that he was set on showing Vijay in a new light and created his character in such a way that it did not reflect his earlier films and roles.
This uniqueness attracted the audiences to the theatres and fans like to see their favorite star in a refreshing role, stated AR Murugadoss.
Well, it looks like the director’s technique has gone down well with the movie buffs!
Meanwhile, Thuppakki, in a week, has made wonderful collections at the Tamil Box Office. Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Thuppakki has collected a whopping Rs. 10.01 crore within the first three days from Tamil Nadu. Vidyut played the villain in Billa 2 and was all praise for Ajith during the shoots.
