The big question of Vishwaroopam’s release on DTH has finally been answered. As promised all the versions of the multilingual i.e. Tamil, Telugu and Hindi will release on the same day(February 2nd).
More importantly, Vishwaroopams DTH premiere will be pushed back by a week now after a compromise with the theatre owners and distrubutors associations. To much relief of the subscribers, all those who had previously booked the DTH tickets in advance will be refunded as per guidelines.
The tactful move will certainly ensure a one week business for the theatres. However, Kamal who is eyeing a target of 150 crores needs to make sure that the movie is premiered all across the state to jam packed audiences. With a host of new technologies to boast about it should not be hard for him to attract the masses. At the end, it is the people who will have the final say and their response will matter a lot.
The following is the official statement from Raajkamal Films International which states the dates of the releases in DTH all across the nation to be February 2.
In theatres the movie will release a week earlier this January 25 in Tamil and Telugu. The Hindi version releases on 1st of February.
