Thalaivaa first look poster
Today is certainly a great day for fans of Illayathalapathy Vijay as the name of his next movie(Thalaivaa) hitting the silver screens has been unveiled.
The news went viral as Amala Paul who is the leading lady of the ongoing project with the actor wrote on her microblogging site “Good morning tweetos …Happy news!! My film wit dir Vijay and Vijay has been titled as ‘THALAIVAA’ …It’s official!!

”Confirming further, GV Prakash also revealed, “#thalaivaa will b the title of ilayathalapathy vijay – a.l.vijay film”
The announcement comes closely after Director A L Vijay himself disclosed in an open letter to the media on the movies updates. However even in the letter he successfully kept the title of the movie close to his chest.
In Thalaivaa Amala Paul plays vijays heroine while, Sathyaraj,Santhanam,Suresh, Manobala,Ponnvannan,Abhimanyu will we playing key roles. Also another leading mumbai heroine who is yet to be revealed will also play a key role in the film,.
It should be also noted that the movie was earlier rumored to be titled Thanga Magan but due to controversies it had to be ruled out.
