The third edition of Celebrity Cricket League will kick start at Kochi this February 9, 2013. For the opening match a mighty Kerala Strikers will battle out against Mumbai Heroes.Hailing from Chennai the defending champions Chennai Rhinos will have on its side a capable team led by Vishal as Captain and his team that includes Vikranth,   Arya,    Bharath,    Hamsavardhan,    Jiiva,    Jithan Ramesh,    Karthik Kumar,    Prithivi,    Ramana,    Rishi,    ,Shaam,    Shiva,    Shanthnoo,    Sri Balaji and Vishnu.

Crowning a glamorous campaign for the Rhinos will be Shruti Haasan who will flaunt herself as the brand ambassador for the team. Notably in the past bombshell Sameera Reddy and Mollywood siren Amala Paul have also cheered the team to consecutive back to back titles in the prestigious tournament.

Shruti Haasan who was happy to be chosen, recently revealed on her micrologging site “On my way to the ccl curtain raiser so so happy to be the ambassador for the chennai rhinos!! Go rhinos! Absolutely adore the chennai rhinos!! Such awesome boys! Proud to be the team ambassador it’s going to be super fun!”
