Vazhakku Enn
Vazhakku Enn 18/9 directed by Balaji Sakthivel created headlines as it recently bagged the honors as ‘Best movie’ in the 10th edition of the Chennai Internal Film Festival.
With a good support from producer Lingusamy’s – Thirrupathi Brothers, the offbeat teen crime thriller seamlessly brought forth a strong script and well sculpted characters to the fore. In much contrast to the populating list of ongoing ‘masala action flicks’ at the box office this movie has taken a different route denying stooping low to commercial candy flossing.
No doubt that the authenticity has generated a cult following and audiences have been requesting repeated screenings of the movie. Owing to its great response the movie was also adjudged as the best movie at the South Asian Film festival Paris which is also known as Festival du film d’Asie du Sud Transgressif.
Long story cut short the movie is a modern tale about a lad who works under a Tiffin vendor and his world. Well, the international success is indeed another reason for Thirrupathi Brothers to celebrate as it is fuel to the humongous success they received post the release of their recent production Kumki.
