PT Selvakumar with Vinay at Onbahula Guru movie shooting spot
PT Selvakumar is debuting as director with the upcoming film titled as Onbadhula Guru which has Vinay, Lakshmi Rai, Sathyan and Premgi Amaren in lead roles. Director K.S. Ravikumar, who has the habit of making brief appearances in all his films, has also starred in this film.
K S Ravikumar is currently engaged with the remaking of the Tamil super-hit film Saamy into Hindi with Sanjay Dutt playing Vikram’s role. Meanwhile Selvakumar had manage to rope in KSR to play a prominent role in Onbadhula Guru.
Talking about the experience of directing another experience director Selvakumar says, “I first approached K S Ravikumar sir requesting him to be part of my film knowing very well that he was directing a Hindi film.
“Despite his hectic schedule, he agreed to sign my film. More than that, when I paid him his fee, he refused it, which shows his huge-heart: allotting time amid his own busy schedule and not even taking a single penny for all the time and effort he had put in. I really feel grateful to KS Ravikumar sir and words are not sufficient to express my feelings,” concludes an emotional Selvakumar.
