Happy Birthday Jiiva

Jiiva turns 29 today and he is celebrating as his recent release under Gautham Menon titled Neethane En Ponvasantham runs into its fourth week at the box office.

The actor made his debut back in 1996 as a child actor but it was only in 2003 that he donned a lead role in Kollywood with a romantic stint in Aasai Aasayai. Thereafter he has given some memorable performances. Worth mentioning is his big breakthrough and with his performance for the movie Raam. Subsequently, he enacted the role of a psychopath in Katradhu Tamil and a slum dweller in E and proved his versatility as a performer. Later on with K V Anands directorial venture Ko, Tamil cinema got a popular hero in him.

Jiiva currently has Endrendrum Punnagai with Trisha and Ravi K Chandran’s Yaan opposite Thulasi Nair.Besides a cameo appearance in Onbadhula Guru his fans await the release of David alongside chiyaan Vikram that is scheduled to hit the silver screens this February 1st.
