Mano, Krish and Suchithra cancelled the show: 

Singers Mano, Krish and Suchithra were about to perform a special show for Tamils in Srilanka soon.  It’s the inaugural function of a stadium for which the singers were invited to perform a cultural show. But they all got shocked to know that the President of Sri Lanka, Rajapakse, was also invited to grace the occasion.

On hearing this, singer Mano said that as soon as they heard Rajapakse’s arrival, they immediately cancelled the show.  Mano added that they did so as several people in Tamil Nadu requested them to do. He had said that the troupe accepted to participate in the event because they wanted to perform in front of the Tamils in Kilinochi.  Later decided against it when it was made clear that Rajapakse would also be there.

Notably the Tamilians want Rajapakse to be tried for war crimes during the country’s fight against the LTTE.
