Ajith expects fans to not defame anyone in Facebook:
Ajith Kumar has strongly condemned littering Facebook accounts with disparaging remarks about others. The actor spoke to the press recently as he is about to wrap up the shoot of his film Valai.
“It’s true that I encountered some accidents during the making of Valai. The reason was that I wasn’t intent in using a ‘body double’. I could have used the services of a body double but wanted to do it on my own as I had done so many times in the past. However, I’m not blaming anyone else for this; accidents are part and parcel of an actor’s career. We undertake risks on our own and will have to face whatever comes with it.
“I have been near to death in the past and am not sure whether I am destined to getting into accidents frequently. It’s the Almighty who decides about what film I do, who stars opposite me and who directs my films; I don’t have any say in them.”
Speaking on the recent controversy film have been going through, Ajith Commented “ Of late, formation of the villain’s character has become a Herculean task, as controversy arises with ease if the villain is shown to be belonging to a particular caste/religion/profession.
“Also many new political outfits try to blow a film’s script/casting in order to garner political mileage and cheap publicity. On the whole, we Indians lack discipline in all walks of our lives. Just as we expect good leaders to rule us, we ought to behave like good citizens. I don’t expect my fans to record anything defaming anyone in their Facebook accounts. Social networking sites shouldn’t be polluted with such views,” Ajith concluded.
