Happy birthday, Thaman [Friday, November 16, 2012]

Whoever heard 'Saar Vasthara' number from Businessman clearly knew that a creator of ingenuity and zany musical craft alone could have delivered such an amazingly hummable number.  It was Thaman, who opened year 2012 with a pulsating song for the Telugus. In February, he proved that he could adjust himself to the needs of a Love Story, transporting the audience to a different world with his cute romantic music.  Thaman, perhaps, is Tollywood's most-happening music director, with film after big film lined up for release next year. After Allu Sirish's Gauravam, he has Venkatesh's Shadow, Charan's Naayak and NTR's Baadshah.  Later in 2013, expect another Kick from his Balupu. This talent is ruling the roost in Kollywood, too.  Scoring music for the likes of Mahesh Babu and other superstars apart, he has been sought-after by the likes of Simbu, Arya and Karthi there.
